The Impact of Climate Change in Fisheries
5/13/2024
The Impact of Climate Change in Fisheries with Mr. Jack Eschenroeder was born on Thursday, 4th December 2023. Jack Eschenroeder, a fisheries biologist from FISHBIO with extensive experience in freshwater systems. He showed us that aquatic environments bear the brunt of climate change just as much as terrestrial ones. Our members learned a lot about the potential impacts of climate change on freshwater biodiversity and fisheries, with a particular focus on the Mekong River basin.
What do our members think about this session?
This session highlighted the critical impact of climate change on the Mekong Basin, particularly on fish populations and their habitats. It's a stark reminder of the importance of freshwater ecosystems.
Stephania

I gained new insights into the complex relationship between climate change and fish populations, particularly regarding biology, reproduction, and migration patterns.
