The Livelihood and Climate Change with Dr. Mingli Yong was hosted on Saturday, 30th December 2023. Dr. Yong's presentation, which included compelling real-world examples from the Lower Mekong Basin and Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia, provided a valuable perspective on the complexities of environmental research and stakeholder engagement. She also emphasized the critical role young people can play in finding solutions to address climate change, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

This dialogue challenged my view of hydropower. It's clear that dams can cause serious damage to ecosystems.
